Depression Starts as a Noun

It morphs into a feeling, we experience it –
It transforms into an animated construct we embody and become it.
How do we reverse and beat it, if we do not take good measure & understand it?

Exasperation over time will leave us drained and consumed because of our desperation.

This puts us under pressure, depletes our energy, steals our treasure trove of joy, distracts & diverts our focus, we lose purpose.

Caught in this endless loop, we are swept by a wave of sadness that stirs up wanton frustrations.

We lose ourselves, fail to recognise what we see of self as we measure against the self we once were or aspired to become; oppressed by self recrimination we self isolate, dial into a recession, feeling not good enough; the onset of depression.

Resignation slowly sets in, nonchalance beckons with its seductive lure, inviting us to taste of its stale fruit, served as a platter of apathy.

This is to say, you “are” not depression, you may “feel” depressed, you sure do “think” depressed when not “acting” depressed, but hear this one out!

If you got to that mental state, you can get past its emotionally charged stakes. It’s a journey, let’s find the lesson, so keep walking, the darkest hour is nearest the break of dawn, if you need a friend, look no further, be a friend and you will find a friend. Need a friend?
Well, you were minding your business and I found you, so no, its not all lost, it’s not too late,
not even the half of it, not nearly close, your journey has only just begun.
So, come take a walk, make it your best talk, you were not born to...

D~>esperation
E~>xasperation
P~>ressure brought to bear on self
R~>eassurance needed by leaps & bounds
E~>nergy deficiency syndrome, revitalise.
S~>adness where’s my gladness?
S~>tirring up frustrations
I~>solation in manifestation
O~>ppressed by my own thoughts
N~>onchalant, need a sense of purpose.
Depression starts as a noun, we talk about it,
